Photo of the Week: Imagining a W211 with a W212 E63 AMG Front End

Is this bad photoshopping of a really good idea, or just bad photoshopping? What we have here is a W211 Mercedes-Benz E-Class that hired Michael Jackson’s plastic surgeon for a W212 E63 AMG nose graft.

This photo got mixed reviews in our forum.

HeissRod: “That’s hideous.” 

JoeNobody: “Looks hot.”

E55Greasemonkey: “The saddest part is the ‘new’ front end fits the W211 round body design more than it does the W212 square body.”

E55Greasemonkey‘s analysis sums up why we like this idea, which we’d enjoy seeing in real life.

Someone on the forum also suggested a C63 AMG front-end graft on a W211. We don’t think that would work as well as the design above, but we’d still be interested in seeing it.

What do you think of this? Abomination or masterpiece?
