The lowly wagon. Often thought of as the primary means of conveyance for soccer
moms everywhere, the wagon is rarely thought of as a sports car. At
least, that’s been the case in America. The mere word “wagon” bound
to bring up mental images of the Buick Landmasters, and anemic Ford Tauruses from the
nineties.

But this is the year 2012 and the notion that a wagon needs to be bland is so passe. The future is fast, wich is exactly what Mercedes and Cadillac are going for with these super shooting brakes.

The end result of Mercedes’ and Cadillac’s tinkering is what Jonny Lieberman correct assess as
two mythical beasts. The great white whales of the automotive world: The E63 AMG
wagon and the Cadillac’s CTS-V wagon.

Both cars have roughly 550 hp, weigh around 4400 lbs, and can handle like no one’s
business. But which one comes out on top?

So how was the AMG’s
performance? Tell us your opinion in the forums!
