RENNtech’s Road Racer Raises the C63 Bar

RENNtech continues to put their in-house project car, the C74, to the test by evolving the wide body C63 into a full out road racer. The C74 Konzept, which started life as a 2008 Mercedes C63, hosts the entire catalog of RENNtech performance upgrades and exterior enhancements.

The C74 is rated at well over 600 hp and features a full carbon
fiber wide body kit,  fully adjustable bolt on DTM style carbon fiber
rear wing and RENNtech’s newest 2-piece forged wheels wrapped in Nitto
tires putting all the power to the ground.  The vehicles interior has
also been completely light weighted with a set
of Seibon Carbon race seats with Schroth harnesses installed for the
track event.

The C74 has been entered in the Optima Battery Ultimate Street Car
Invitational at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Pahrump, Nevada.
O.U.S.C.I. is an invitation only event that showcases some of the best
performance vehicles in the industry and was limited this year to a
total of 34 competitors in the field.  It is comprised of five segments
that highlight both the overall performance and design of the
participating vehicles – a road rally, road course, speed-stop
challenge, autocross and design challenge.  The 2011 event was filmed
for TV production and will air on the SPEED Channel in the near future
