Ticked-Off Vic Hates Push-Button Start

Since around 2013, Vic Dibitetto has garnered a reputation online as a stereotypical, pissed-off New Yorker, to great comedic effect. He’s a talented, award-winning stand-up comedian as well, and his Ticked-Off Vic character has propelled him to internet stardom, even landing him a role in Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2.

Vic’s videos tend to highlight the mildly annoying things about everyday life, and then blow them way out of proportion. The video below got the attention of rapper and car enthusiast Paul Wall, who shared it on Facebook. Keep in mind that the video has some very rough language, but it’s well worth watching.

As told in the vid, Vic decided to be nice and clean the snow off of his wife’s car. The only problem is, Vic’s wife drives a Volkswagen beetle with a push-button start, like most new cars. In Vic’s words, “you push the button, [the keys] are obsolete, you put ’em in your pocket…”

I’m sure you can guess what happens next, and that’s where the rage starts. Vic has to interrupt his morning constitutional and ruin his entire day — to paraphrase things I can’t exactly type here — in order to bring the keys to his wife, who is stranded in a parking lot.

Ticked-Off Vic’s trademark blend of rage, hand gestures, facial expressions, and coarse language convey the same frustration experienced by many of us the first time we made the same mistake. It’s always funnier when it happens to someone else.

Hey Vic, next time, leave the keys in the cupholder! You’ll thank me later.
