Innocent Mercedes-Benz C-Class Flippantly Wrecked with a Smile

By -

Our hearts are broken into as many pieces as this poor, poor Mercedes W204’s windshield.

“Thou shall not mess with another person’s ride.” If it isn’t one of the 10 Commandments, it should be. Look, we’ve all been in situations where we’ve wanted to get back at someone for something. But bringing a car into the equation is never a good idea. That’s made painfully clear in this video, where an unidentified woman is gleefully wreaking havoc on a Mercedes-Benz W204 C200 in Nairobi, Kenya. As you might expect, it’s tough to watch.

For one, the person in question is wearing sandals, and she’s really going to town on the car’s windshield and rear window. She’s also having way too much fun. Did the owner of this car do something to her? There doesn’t seem to be a lot of anger here. What’s more, her two male companions don’t seem to be doing much to stop her. One is casually filming the whole incident (always a good idea when committing a crime), while the other helps her off the car. While she’s getting off, she gives the amateur videographer a high five.

To make things weirder, The Nairobi News has photos of the woman – including photos of her with the undamaged car, as well some of the aftermath. Still, the news piece doesn’t give us much to work with. And with this incident taking place a world away, it’s unlikely that we’ll ever know the full story. Was this the car of a truly terrible person? Was this part of a petty beef gone horribly wrong? I guess we’ll have to leave it up to the imagination.

In the end, this should be a cautionary tale. If you didn’t know this before, again, remember: Don’t mess with another person’s ride. Just don’t. Seeing an innocent car – especially a Mercedes – dragged into personal stuff is just too much. In the end, the worried sounds of the woman filming this incident out her window say it all. “Woi. Wooooooooiiiii…”
