Your Year-End Fix of Nurburgring Crashes

Sure it’s cringe-worthy, but you just cant stop watching Nurburgring crash videos once you’ve started. For car guys like us, the track is Mecca. It’s the one place you must go. And it’s the one place where you really have to try not to turn your car into recycling.

Now, it’s no secret that BMWs are a bit more popular for track day stuff, and you might even be able to say a thing or two about their owners after watching these vids. That said if you have a bit of disdain for the Bavarian make, these Nurburgring crash videos, which Jalopnik recently highlighted, should please your soul. We posted one of the better ones below, but head over there for all the mayhem.

There’s one thing to take away from watching these wrecks. Some places see crash after crash and people just driving way over their heads. Perhaps if you’re planning a visit, there’s some things to take away from this. I can think of one very important thing to do. If you are unfortunate and do have an impact, please stay in your car. There’s about a hundred other hot-heads on track that can leave the course at the same place you did. Your car is the safest place to be.
