Question about Brabus front bumper

Do the Brabus front bumbpers (non-K8) always have the holes for the headlight washers? My car came with the halogen lights, so obviously, I don't have the washer. If so, do you just glue the washer covers to the bumper?

Thanks.

It can be changed...

Order straight from brabus (retail price though) and tell them you don't have the headlight washer and they can cover it so when you paint it, it will not show up. Most of their bumpers come prepared for parktronic, but I don't have parktronic so I asked them to mold it over.

hope this helps.

Thanks for the tip. The bumper is here, painted, and ready to go on. I've been assured that it does not have the headlight washer holes, or the side marker lights, which is great since I've replaced those bulbs with resistors already anyway... I think I remember seeing at least a couple of Brabus front bumpers with side marker lights on this board, however...

Well, Brabus bumper is installed (thanks, F1)... I only wired up one set of the xenon foglights for now.. I wired both pairs at first, but they kept switching on and off, which makes me think the computer feels the circuit is overloaded.. I ran all of the wires for the 2nd pair up into the engine compartment, where I will install a couple of relays, which will allow me to have all 4 on at the same time... Looking at the lamps, its obvious that the outside pair are meant for normal foglights, but the inside pair are going to be much brighter, as there are not metal pieces to block the light as with the outside pair. Also, I dont know if my bumper was European or what, but the hole to mount the Outside Temperature Sensor was on the LEFT side of the Brabus bumper, instead of the right side! We just improvised a mount for the correct side - but how odd for Brabus to put the mounting hole on the incorrect side...

Here are a few pics of the installation, including the mounting of the 4 HID ballasts.

Front Spoiler

I never like the front spoiler of my 2004 CLK320 Coupe. I like to replace it with the stock spoiler of the AMG or CLK500. I was told by my MB service advisor that I would have to change the side skirts as well as the rear. If not, the car would look funny because the front will be lower than the side/rear.

Is this true? What should I do?

I dont think that's true, for some reason.. I think at least a few people here have changed their front bumper to the AMG one. Mine will be available for purchase very soon, with the foglights, of course. It has a couple of cracks in it that I'm getting fixed now, to prep for repainting...
