The SLR. If a SLR was behind you and it gunned it, the whine is pretty loud. It's probably not as loud as a Cobra's, but noticeably louder than the 55Kers.

Could anyone see what the final MPH was on the Stang? Given the length of the race, they must've been up over 150. Really close run. . . it was fun to see the cars jockeying as the Stang would shift.
I thought the Stang sounded really sweet. Maybe its just the 16 year old in me.

20+ to list......
The supercharger whine is almost as loud as the old Cooper S. I rather listen to turbos sucking in air from an open filter element than that. What does the CLS have? Bone stock? Seems like the Cobra didn't take the trophy home.

Good run...
In a perfect world for me, the s/c whine would be somewhere right inbetween the mb and the cobra. I know for a fact that I would get tired of the whine if it was that loud driving everyday and sometimes I wish my car's blower was a lil louder at times too...

awesome... the merc takes the lead, then falls back, then is even for a couple seconds ,then very slowly starts to pull, fighting all the way to take the lead again is epic. its like watching a full lenght drama movie in 10 seconds

It shows that stickshift isn't necessarily faster you can tell that on every shift the mustang loses momentum and ground. and the reason CLS starts coming back on the high end is b/c the aerodynamics of the CLS are far superior to the mustang so it slips through the air better, you can see where the mustang basically hits an aerodynamic wall and the CLS pulls away at the very end in top gear.
agreed... mustang sounds like a freight train in a tunnel haha. none the less, great race
