EVOII Body Kit?

I just got a nice 190E and I love the look of the EVOII's. I know there is a company or 2 that make EVOII body kits overseas, but are there any that make em for the 190E in the states? thanks.

I beleive that all the kits are made overseas, but all will fit the North American W201 chassis, mainly because there is considerable body modifications that have to be done, replacing the the front and rear bumpers and cutting the wheel well arches in the front and rear, so it really doesn't matter which W201 is under all that fiberglass. If you've done your research, you'll find that the Evo II is probably one of the hardest bodykits to install as all of the kits (except the OEM Mercedes one) are rough fits that will result in major bodywork, blending and prepping.

Thumbs down Sacrilege

No one produces an exact copy of the EVO II kit. The reiger kit is probably the closet thing you'll get to the genuine article. I guess it's all about taste, but I find that the 190's i've seen with the EVO II style body kits look terrible as the owners have never been able to fill the arches and lower car appropriately. Its personal taste, but for me it would have to be EVO I style body kit or the classic 16V body kit. My dad has one for sale if your interested.

As you can see from the photos the evo II replica looks ****!!!!

Well i know erebuni makes a kit, but erebuni can suck my nuts lol. Is reiger the only one yall can think of that makes the EVO II kit? As long as the kit is good I know I can make it work, I can make a custom grill easily out of a bigger aftermarket truck grill, ive made complete piles of body kit crap look decent before. I just need a good kit to start with, any ideas what shipping would be like to the states? Any ideas on which company would be best to use? hansonamg which kit does ur dad have? any pics? thanks guys

The biggest problem I've seen is that people don't want to take the time to pre-fit a kit properly. One example that comes to mind is the Saleen Mustangs. New, they look great, but if you need to replace a piece, they come looking like they popped them out of a mold and shipped them.

Like the previous post stated, you can make a bad kit look good but it really comes down to what you start with and the talent installing it.

BTW doesn't Felix @Euro-passion.com have a EVO II?

I believe that autorice.com is selling a few Indonesian made kits (google Indra body kit) for $2K; Erebuni stopped production, so you'd have to gurarantee them an order of 5 or more for them to make them for purchase.

Anybody got a picture of a 2.3-16 body kit? I've never seen one. I tried calling reiger, well it sent me to a bunch of cambodian people in california, who then sent me to a non-working number. awesome.
