Won't start out of 1st gear
As posted below, I test drove a 86 190e 2.3 yesterday. Now that I think
about it, I don't recall the car starting out of first unless I pushed the
pedal all the way down to the kick down spot. Does this have the winter
mode that it could have been in, or some simple reason why it didn't do
this, or could there be transmission issues?

'85 190E 2.3-16 '99 C280 '11 GLK350
Shift down to 2nd and then back up to D(rive) before hitting the gas and the car will start of in 1st. First gear start was fitted to the 190E midyear 1991.
