body mounting clips for 16 valve aerodynamic pieces

Guys -

If one were to remove the lower plastic body kit panels on a 2.3-16 Cosworth (like, to paint them), and managed to break some of the mounting clips, are these easy to replace? I'm wondering if they use the same clips that the later 190Es used for body moulding pieces, in which case I assume they'd be fairly easy to get at a stealership?

TIA,

Derek

It would be a rare event that the panels of these aging cars could be removed without breaking some of the clips. They're just old a brittle at this point. Luckily, they aren't any special part and available at the dealership, but a little pricey at just under $1 per.

Thanks MTI! Do you happen to know a part number? The guy I know who wants to do this says he checked at the stealership and they could not get the 16V clips because they were so rare. I have a feeling maybe MB used a different part number for the 16V clips, but that the same part (with a different number) was used for the clips for the regular 190E cladding. IOW, same clip, but different part numbers (maybe so they could charge you more for a 16V "specific" clip).

Thanks again,

Derek
