i got a 92 190e2.6 3 month ago, low mileage.
leaking, so i changed the gaskit 1 month ago.
feel lost some engine power after done gaskit job...

today, while driving in city road, it suddenly stopped on the road.
i added some gas, cannt start.
then, i direct added some gas to airintake, didnt work.
actully, it engine cannt fired. no crak.
and the cooling fans are running.
engine is as silent as dead.

any sugguestion?

See if you have spark.

What gasket? Head or Valve Cover. I am thinking Head. Second, were you out of gas? Otherwise why did you add it? Third, if the fans are running, what was the engine temp when it died? You are giving us really nothing here. You have a gas gauge, temp gauge, and oil pressure gauge. What did they read at the time of failure?

This kind of reminds me of an ASE test, although it's missing the mechanic A and mechanic B format and the 4 possibilities.

1. changed cylinder gasket 1 month ago, stopped the leak.
2. actually, my wife was driving the car, i rush to the scence,
3. assuming she run out of gas, add gas, didnt work.
4. assuming is the weak generator, charge/jump start from other car, didnt work.
5. assuming is the spark/distrubutor, checked have spark.
6. so i leave the car overnight, and today, try again-
when i try initing the engin, all belts are runing. i could hear the started also running, the oil pressure gauage is very low.
