big prob witm my 16v

whats up guys my name is jazz i have a 85 2.3-16 i just redid the head completely gaskets seals and everything and i got this tapping noise.....and it's giving me some trouble starting ...i have to give gas from the throttle body

could there be anything else causing the noise...because i sent th head to a machine shop and the put new valves...shouldnt have they adjusted them??

what about the car giving me trouble starting up....its not giving very late reactions from the gas pedal.....i dont wanna sell the car i love it.....i been giving some thought of a 2002 m3....

check your valves! I highly doubt that they adjusted them for you. It only takes a few min to check them, so just do that and go from there, they may be fine or they may be so far out of whack that you are but miles from bending a valve, which would require you to do everything you just did over again... And because you just replaced everything, you should check you valve twice as often as the new valves seat themselves.
