can't find coolant drain plug
I searched in the users manual but all I found was a very dark and blurry image of the crankcase drain plug without any directions where to watch. The car is 92 W201 190D 2.0. I'll be grateful if someone can help me

If it is the same as mine, you look on the front bumper(ground effects part), passenger side, and there is a piece of it that just looks like it comes off. It does. It might even be missing like mine lol. It is the size of your hand and very noticeable. When you pull that off there should be a thing that sticks out that you twist. and it will drain. If its like mine.

Thanks for the reply
I suppose you have air conditioning. I read about this. Sorry it's my mistake I forgot to tell you that mine hasn't AC. I think I found it is under the exhaust manifold.

yes, I do have AC. Well, I have an AC system lol.

a/c or no it has nothing do do with the coolant.
The drain plug Phil is talking about is part of the radiator. The one you are talking about is the block drain plug which is generally found between manifolds 3 and 4. Either way for a full flush you need to pull both. As the block wont drain into the rad without help form the wp and vice versa. |
