High idle in park and neutral

High idle in park and neutral
Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum, I hope someone can help.
I have a 1992 190 E 2.3, Just got done putting the right head light harness back in, and put new fluid in also. Once the car warmed up nice, the car went to a high idle in park and neutral position. can anyone please tell me what it can be? I have been working on this car for almost three years and I am almost got this car running smooth.

Consumerguide reports the following:
Engine misfire: The idle speed-control motor may stick causing a high idle or surging idle. (1990-93)
Check this link under the "trouble spots" section

Dont know anymore about this to elaborate further. Maybe check that motor for fault first. Hope this helps.

Thank you zedzilla for you your info, sorry it took so long to reply to say thank you. I did check for faults there was none. I did notice the plunger on the throttle area was sticking, so I cleaned and lubed the throttle linkages and plunger. I drove the car for an hour and never got the high idle in park or in neutral. If it dose happen agian I will be looking at the idle speed control motor as specified on your quick link you had sent me. Thanks again, Im a happy person with a 190 E.
