Car May Not Pass Smog..(Read)
 

My 190E is due up again for its annual smog check..I have had issues in the past with it not being able to pass..Is there any preventive maintenance I should do before I take it in? Any insight would be helpfull..thanks..Ken

Make sure that it is not a short trip to the emmissions testing place. Drive the car until it is good and hot. You need to get the catalytic coverter as hot as you can. You can buy fuel additives too and change your oil just before you go too. New spark plugs could help as well.
