I really love this car. I just got it about a month ago and I have fixed so many things. Its running quite nice now. I wanna move all the switches in the center somewhere else. The window switches, hazard and mirror adjuster. I got rid of the fader when I installed the headunit. Just wanted to know if I could buy a switch holder that was already done right. Thanks guys

Curious, why do you want to relocated all the controls from the shifter area? There is no "pre-made" panel, so if your set to do this, you're going to have to fashion your own fascia plate and then slice in the wiring.

I just believe it'll look better with them moved. I think I'm gonna try and put them where the ashtray is. It won't be as far of a move so it shouldn't be as hard as if I wanted to put them in the driver door panel. I'll just have to find a good material to make the switch holder out of.

Okay. In your '85 the center console stack doesn't go all the way down like the later models do. I suggest that you consider getting a center console from the 16 valve, which is a direct fit and will give you much more space, including a double DIN compartment if you don't use the extra gauges.
