Checking out used 190e Monday, looking for advice
Love browsing the local Kijiji for a few specific models from the 80s/90s and found a 190e Im interested in.

Whats huge is that in Manitoba most people never have older cars safetied as garages never like to bother granting safeties to them. I basically only look at older cars if they provide a safety inspection sheet with realistic work needed. This car is already coming safetied which saves me money on inspection and reapirs to pass inspection.
At $1500 and 200,000k though, is this car a ticking timebomb? I should emphasize this is not being relied on as a daily driver. I bus/bike to work, and me and the gf already own a 5 year old Golf.
Thanks for any help!

If you're serious about buying it, get it inspected buy a reputable garage that specializes in German (Mercedes preferably) cars.
Research and call ahead to the garage. If possible, meet the seller there.
Hope that helps
EDIT: Sorry, I missed the part about your inspection in your post.
