Check the drive axles , make sure the CV boots are intact and check for bering play , use a wrench / vise grip and wiggle in all directions .

Rotate your driveshaft back and forth while under the car to check the play in transmission gears and the differential. My friend's 500k+ 2.3l has the differential eating itself alive hitting freeway speeds, causes all sorts of funny noises towards the back.

I noticed today i even heard it when i was at a stoplight. Totally parked with ebrake up, so i could not move so either drifeshaft couldnt move? I heard it at neutral and even when clutch pedal down 1st gear in and in everyway, but i was totally at a stop. When i pressed gas the vibration accelerated so i could hear it even in a higher rate. Exhaust?
