My '93 190e 8v won't start after changing the serpentine belt and tensioner

Hello all, this is my first post on the forum and I was wondering if any of you guys know what's going on with my car. Also sorry if i don't know much I'm just a 16 year old kid lol. So I've been driving my 190e normally every day knowing that the belt tensioner was on it's way out (probably kinda stupid but it's my only car), but it was running fine. One night when I pulled into my garage the car literally sputtered out just as I coasted into the spot and it didn't restart. The fuel was low but I didn't think that low. The next day, I go to the gas station and get a jerry can of 91 just to make sure I have enough gas, put it in, and it doesn't start. I tried turning on and off the car to get the air out of the fuel system, just in case, but it still doesn't start (I can hear them priming every time I turn the key and I recently replaced them so I assume they're good). I then decide that this would be a good time to get that new belt tensioner on and a new serpentine belt on just for preventative maintenance. After installing both, I put it all back together and tighten the belt and it still will crank but not start. I decided to take the valve cover gasket to check to see if the chain is timed and it looks good. I also checked the spark plugs which were good and the wires were recently serviced. Any input would be greatly appreciated as I am still relatively new to fixing and owning a car. Thanks yall for reading this.

Welcome. The 190 is a great car. What year is your 190 and how many miles are on it? Have you checked the condition of your fuel filter and fuel lines as sometimes they can get clogged and need to be replaced? I would also recheck the wiring that was recently serviced to be sure all of the connections are nice and clean and tight. You might just in general, go through and be sure all wiring and connections are nice and clean and tight as that can cause a problem. It's best to start with the easy and free stuff first to rule that out and then go from there once you do that. Don't hesitate to continue to ask for help in getting this issue resolved.

Thanks for the help guys I'm going to check over the fuel system and ignition system later today and make sure everything is connected right. I also replaced the fuel filter when I replaced the pumps around 1k miles ago but I'll check again in case any connections came loose. The car is currently at almost 126k and it is a 1993 8 valve, thanks again for the help!
