I installed a pair of clean corner lights about 10 years ago but it's falling apart...bought a new pair from the Bay but found out the bulb socket has only 3 pins instead of 4 pins.....checked all the listings on eBay and seems they all come with 3 pins. How do I convert the 4 pins to 3 pins?
Will that even fit in the housing? That looks like a plug for a 124, not a 201. Also where do you see 4 pins? I only see 2 pins and 3 pins. The way I see the 2 pin working is when you use the blinker, the light will completely go out then on again like turning on and off a light switch. Normally 3 pins allows for the bulb with dual filaments to keep one filament lit at all times, while the second filament flashes. Either way, that socket is not the correct one, see if you can reuse the old socket.
