Me vs C5 750 HP and other runs...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wE9U1Diuk6U
As I have been told 98 C5 with big block 7.0 and S/C makes 750 HP at the crank and 850 HP with NOS...Everyone was scared to race him so I did...
Beat him from stop to 170 like by 5-6 cars and same thing happaned rolling start in 1st at about 30-40mph...
Well...the owner got very dissapointed and did want to race anyone else anymore...btw I dont think it made 750 HP otherwise it wouls spank ME badly...but it definately had 7 liter big block, S/C and NOS...and fire comping out of the exhausts when he WOT...
Raced 2 diff stock M5 from stop with M5 using EURO L/C...in cold weahter LC does work too well...M5 went side ways and pulled hard on him...
Biggest surprise was the race with Evo 8 450 HP +...from the stop I only catched up with him at 120-130 and then we went even till 170...then there was some traffic so we let off the throtle...then Evo stopped cauase his oil temps went too high...
Rolling start...He had no chance...2 times I beat him like 5-6 car 30-40 to 160...and what is instresting I open the gap very quieckly to like 120-130 then it stay even till the end...Evo owner said he has Turbo lag at rolling starts...
Anyways its was fun...Tonight hopefully I will race mighty Hamann M6...which now has all cats removed, custom Evotech ECU and makes about 580 HP at the crank...
After each run I would slowly drive back 3-5 miles back and let then temps drop back to 90 (they actually drop down quite fast as long as you dont press WOT or run over 120) and then park the car and let it run for 5 more minutes...then it 15-20 min have another run...
Something needs to be done to run faster after 140-150...transmission ECU

E55Russ,
Engine temperature has nothing to do with intake-air-temperature which is still killing your car under long accelerations. I really dont know where is Vadim or VRUS and telling you that, but i still know thats the fact.
Engine temperature can be anything between 70~100 but it doesnt matter.
IAT (intake-air-temperature) is the only thing that matters.
Forget those little transmission-ecus and other small stuff and focus to keeping IAT down. Even NOS is not going to save you if IAT is going too high.
And btw, even 650hp Lingenfelter Twin-Turbo is laughing for SLR or CLK-DTM and maybe tie with CLK-GTR so 750hp C5 and nos over that
If there was 600hp in that C5 it would be result like that

in most cars i would agree but in these things iat and engine temps have to be at least indirectly related if the i/c shares the same coolant as the radiator.

Hello guys...finally I have done some DYNO runs this weekends...
Weather in the Dynoshop was +16C...
Dyno - latest DynoDynamic machine...
My mods: Kleemann Style Headers, Primary Cats removed, E. Race mufflers and ASP pullies + custom ECU adjusted to those mods...
All graphs showing CRANK HP !!!

they were 620 crank hp 598 crank torque equation for rwhp = your # divided / 1.23 = 504 rwhp 486rwto
Edit: Just watched your video? what does that prove? just shows you getting a slightly better launch, then off into the dark? no outcome, why not film from inside your whip?

Bro! nothing but respect for your midnight madness runs, and your like me, wanting to run anyone anytime, etc.. But yes a 3,000lb Z06 C5 or any Vette modded to that level will destroy an SLR, and your E55k 211, have you forgotten or not seen the Subi Leagacy video racing a 211 55k w/Kleeman or Renn 3-4 mods? from a roll? BTW the baru Legacy out weighs the vettes by 200lbs or so..
Here's my old post..
Here's your latest dyno results obviously converted to Crank #'s
they were 620 crank hp 598 crank torque equation for rwhp = your # divided / 1.23 = 504 rwhp 486rwto

Thanks man...those mod Japs can be very...any Evo or Sti wityh over 400Hp is hard to catch in 1/4...on regular roads...unfotunately we have only 1 legal 1/4 strip in Moscow and its still closed and not many people go there...
So my car makes around 504rwhp and 486rwto ??? is it good compared to other mod 55s ???

Also are you running 19''s-20''s on the rear? if so try 18" wheels, the higher you go in wheel height/overall diameter kills rwhp rwto, it's still there but it retards your rear differintial final drive ratio, so it can't get to the ground anymore, ie smaller is better in this case, but don't confuse that with width, ie..run as WIDE a TIRE as possible for best traction
