Just joined the family!
Just ordered a C350 w/ Pano, P2, Multimedia in Arctic White. The car is already "On the Boat", and I look forward to getting it on the 19th.
This is my first Mercedes, and I look forward to joining the family. Currently, I own a 2006 Audi S4, and a 2001 BMW M3 convertible.
The first thing I plan to do is get rims installed- either Brabus or HREs. I've had HRE 545s on my Audi, but i'm on the fence if I want to stick with those, or get the Brabus. Any suggestions out there?
Also, what's the fittment for the W204 wheels?
I'll be sure to take pics when my new baby arrives.
I think you'll love it.
He did say 90 days max from when I ordered it...so that would put us at the third week in November

today is 3 weeks so it should be close, but who knows. my guess is the MM is holding things up. you would think they would be able to save a few extra packages for some 350's since they are shipping 300's over here like crazy.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Peyton,
My manager wrote an e-mail to try to speed up the process of getting the car scheduled. I learned that newly order cars are scheduled once a month around the 15th. Hopefully I’ll have an additional update very soon.

So I guess you and I both have to wait til the 15th of September to get a date. which means...1 week to have it built...then 5 weeks for shipping plus dock/customes...
Looks like November for us....
Well, we haven't agreed on a price yet so maybe the market will have cooled a bit by then and I at least might be able to get something from them.
What ya'll are saying doesn't make a lot of sense to me. When a client orders a specific model I know exactly when the car is coming off the assembly line, when it's getting on the boat, when it's docking at the port, and when to expect it to arrive at the dealership. I can give my clients about a 3 day window as to when to expeCt a car that will be built 2 months from now. I'm thinking maybe your dealers don't have enough allocation, and are hoping to trade for your specific model as more cars start to arrive in America. Doesn't sound right, but good luck with all that.

If it gets close to October and I don't have a firm delivery date we are going to have a nice little chat.
They have a system that shows the production phase of an order (cars in production, dock, ships etc.)

I got the same thing but with 18" AMG and am going for $42K OTD if I lease it and with a buy option they told me....
still being shipped right now...
anybody know much about leases with buy options? Is it truly the cheapest way to go? That was the only way the dealer would give me 42K OTD for a car with MSRP $43575. I pay monthly lease payments whatever they are and then whatever the leftover out of $42K after 4 years is then I pay in full to buy the car... they told me I wont pay more than $42K over 4 years and I will own the car... seems like too good to be true since I dont have to pay all at once, kinda like no interest... does this seem right to you guys? so far I have only paid the $3K deposit...
