HELP - Potential CLS owner with questions
Hi all,
I'm sorry, as I know there are a dozen threads with my similar situation in the C219 discussion forum.
I'm in the market to purchase an used CLS500/CLS550.
What are the main differences (engine, interior, exterior, and features) between the years? 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 and higher?
Is the navigation different on the newer models? I read a lot of the of threads on here and besides the obvious that the technology on the 2007+ are better, are there any other major differences?

I have a friend that's a tech at a MBZ dealership. He told me to pay a little more and wait to find a good deal on a 2007 CLS550 instead of jumping on a 2006 CLS500.
So my ideal preference is White on Black, with AMG sport package.
White on black is super rare and hard to find, at least so it seems.
My second choice is silver. I saw a 2006 CLS500 with 50k miles for $30k.
What do you guys think?
