I don't see a widebody??.....maybe slightly fender flare??.....am I missing something here?

It's very subtle, but it's there. It's not like a black series widebody with big bubbly fenders- the fronts are just flares but the rear tires are 305 and the quarter panels have been modified more extensively. I put the 9.5" wide SL55 rear wheel w/ 285 tire on it and this is how puny it looks by comparison (see attachment). You can also see in pic 2657 how the quarter panel flows wide starting from the door, and the rear bumper is from a CL63 -which is a wider car than the CLK.

oh nice. I'm running 275s with 10" rim in the rears...its pretty darn flush at the moment....I might pull the fenders a bit more and toss 295s maybe..haha

Yeah i was looking at ur rear tires thinking...hrm, those are way wider than mine..haha
