Got mine. Grille as well (all black). Going on next week. :-) Winning.

Paint and install quote was much less than expected making this a VERY affordable upgrade to the beast.

Can't wait for the finished product!!!!!!!!

what are people using as internal bumper supports and the mounts? the E55 ones don't fit unless you hack the crap outta them. The E63 ones fit fine and run ~$100 for the three

Damn...Wish I'd known that!

Mine was scheduled to be done tomorrow...but because they have to fill in the holes...it's going to take a little longer.

Works for me...they can do all the work and paint and then the installation shouldn't take too long. Really looking forward to it!!!!

What's funny is the guys doing mine just priced out doing an E63 conversion for another E55...parts...labor paint...everything would have been close to $3k.

And then this bumper cover comes out... :-)

You do need the E63 left, center, and right mounts (~$100) to properly install this bumper

The mounts or styrofoam bumper supports? I already bought the center in anticipation of needing it. Figured if was runnable without them but it would ruin the bumper with a parking lot impact.

You cam reuse the styrofoam. It's the mounts that you HAVE to have

Pardon my ignorance, but which part is it on this list that is the mount you're referring to?
i was always under the impression you needed a wack of parts, i pieced together a list using a bunch of older posts and this is what almost everyone needed to buy from MB

211-885-41-25 E63 bumper cover with Parktronic & headlight washers
211-880-17-05-9999 Headlamp Washer Cover $22.40
211-880-18-05-9999 Headlamp Washer Cover $22.40
211-885-10-22-9040 Tow Hook Cover Black $35.63
211-880-17-83-9040 Grill (Non Distronic) $286.00 ebay 120.00
211-887-03-27 Pull For Hood Latch $4.25 (This replaces pull on E55 hood latch, you do NOT need the entire E63 latch)
211-885-23-21 Chrome Trim For Bumper $48.13
211-885-24-21 Chrome Trim For Bumper $48.13
211-820-09-21 Bumper Blinker $43.13
211-820-10-21 Bumper Blinker $43.13
209-820-08-56 Fog Lamp $213.01
209-820-07-56 Fog Lamp $213.01
211-885-17-53 Fog Light Surround $126.00
211-885-18-53 Fog Light Surround $126.00
211-885-13-53 Center Mesh $184.80
211-880-07-03 Center Inner Plastic Support $20.15
211-880-09-03 Inner Plastic Support $32.50
211-880-10-03 Inner Plastic Support $32.50
211-885-16-37 Impact Absorber $28.80
211-885-15-37 Impact Absorber $28.80
211-885-13-37 Impact Absorber $31.36
002-988-51-81 Retaining Clip For Mesh $5.31 (Order 6)
003-994-05-45 Speed Nut For Fog Surround $1.70 (Order 6)
000000-000479 Screw For Fog Surround $2.04 (Order 6)
003-994-86-45 Speednut For Foglight $0.88 (Order 8)
000000-000521 Screw For Foglight $0.88 (Order 8)
211-885-03-16 Reinforcement For Lower Bumper center $28.50 (This part bonds to the inside of the bumper on the lower center I would use window urethane
211-885-08-16 Reinforcement For Lower Bumper $22.10 (This part bonds with double sided tape to the outside of center bumper opening)
171 885 00 14 Parktronic sensor holder 6 of them
000-990-54-92-9051 rivet .98 (Order 6)

other member's Disclaimer: This is a COMPLETE list for doing the E63 front bumper conversion with the exception of the return springs for the washer nozzle covers and 4 plastic push pins for the inner plastic supports. These items are reusable from the old bumper assembly. Contrary to common belief, you do not need any other pieces outside of this list so do not even think about PMing with questions. I do not know anything about retrofitting other E63 parts so please do not PM me about that either. I have provided a part number for both the Distronic and non Distronic equipped grills. I have not provided a part number for a Parktronic bumper cover and do not recommend this conversion for Parktronic equipped cars as it involves extensive fabrication (BTDT). Please do not PM with any questions about doing a Parktronic conversion. Contrary to comments otherwise, the E63 and E55 sensors are very different and will not interchange.

I used ALL the parts... You however can get away not use the L and R supports, lower bumper absorbers, L, R, Center Absorbers... These are all required for low impact collisions, without them your bumper will pretty much shatter lol...

You can reuse the following from your older e55 bumper... side bumper mounts (between bumper and fender), washer covers, tow hook, nuts n bolts etc...

Absolutely needed: Side markers, fog lights, center, L + R mesh grills, upper grill, hood release latch (e55 is too short!), chrome inserts for bumper (I think e55 are different) Center Support

The undertray does not need to be changed
The lower reinforcements have nowhere to latch onto for the previous models, so they were deemed unnecessary

211-885-03-16 Reinforcement For Lower Bumper center $28.50 (This part bonds to the inside of the bumper on the lower center I would use window urethane
to bond to bumper)
211-885-05-16 $12.50 reinforcement for left side of bumper lower
211-885-06-16 $12.50 reinforcement for right side of bumper lower
211-885-07-16 Reinforcement For Lower Bumper $25.00 (This part bonds to the inside of the bumper on the lower Left side I would use window urethane to bond to bumper)
211-885-08-16 Reinforcement For Lower Bumper $25.00 (This part bonds to the inside of the bumper on the lower Right I would use window urethane to bond to bumper)
