Still available as of Jan 3, 2013:

I have a virtually new set of W166 running boards available for sale. The dealer service department kept all the bolts, and it includes the four 'lift points' that also come with them. These are still on back order if you wanted to order them directly. Asking $995, plus shipping....but will take best offer.

The service dept said it would likely cost about $325 to put them on. Please PM me if you're interested.

lol 325 to put them on, are they putting on rocket boosters or a running board? so what they are saying is for approximately 15-20 mins of work they are charging 325.

It really is 1-2 hours worth of work only and can be done with a 12mm wrench, a screw driver with all 4 wheels on the floor

I know...it does seem a little high, but that's just what they quoted. Hey, it's a MB dealership, what do you expect?

Seriously, though...keep in mind that they have to remove the existing trim, including the existing lift points. So I'm sure it would take longer than 15-20 minutes for the whole process. I would think they could do it in an hour, though. Keep in mind, also, that it was just a quote....I expect they would actually just charge the shop hourly rate. But if it were me, I'll just take it to my local non-dealer MB mechanic.
