Security code on my radio
I have a 2000 ML 430 and the radio has been saying "please enter the security code".*
I have tried the code I know (11362) and it's still "Wait".*
My vin no. is 4JGAB72E4YA212675 and the info on the radio is;*A 1638200486*
Model No. RA4910*
FM: 87.9-107.9 MHz*
AM: 530-1710KHz*
WB: 162.4-162.55MHz*
12V D.C NEGATIVE GND
I'll be glad if I can get the right code

I had that issue too. It sounds like you already have the code. Have you tried disconnecting the battery to reboot your anti theft system? That's what I had to do.
Btw I bought my car w/o books and found out about the "code" by accident.
I was lucky one of oregons best MB dealers was nice enough to give me my code over the phone.

If you are doing this correctly according to the instructions, then the code you have is not for the radio that is presently in the truck.
As stated before, contact any M/B dealer and ask them for the radio code according to the vin #. If they give the same code # as the one you have, then ask them if they can give you the code number according to the radio serial number.
If they can't or won't, call this tele. # and tell him your problem and see if he can help.
