Question about my new A45 AMG
So about two months ago, I got myself a 2015 A45 AMG (not face-lifted) and I have a couple of questions.
First ones, the weird sounds:
The clutch (or transmission) makes noise just before reaching a full stop. It's as if the clutch is released too late around 10kph and I hear a faint bang sound and the car jerks forward ever so slightly. I feel the car should release the clutch sooner.
Next sound, the "side center columns" (I don't know what they're called
) the beams between the front and back doors. I hear a vibration/buzzing sound behind the seat-belt while building up speed slowly, and I hear it only when going uphill. Are any of these sounds normal/known?
Now, the paint. I have the Magno Gray Matte paint from Mercedes. I clean it with a pressure hose (karcher) almost every week while being careful with distance. But what really is the closest safe distance I can take the hose to the paint?
And lastly, I have what appears to be tree sap on my bonnet/hood. It's either that or maybe some sort of resin the guys used to fix my chipped windshield about a week ago. Either way, it's sticky and I'm having a hard time getting it off
. I tried the classic rubbing while breathing warm air onto it but I didn't want to rub too much because of the matte... Any safe cleaning products I can apply for matte paint?Sorry for bombarding all these questions in one thread!
A part from all this I absolutely love the car, will soon post some pictures of it with a background of Switzerland!
Thanks!
