R vs pro suspension setting button

Hi I have a 2020 gtr, I can change dampening with the button. For the pro, can you also change with a button? Or as it sounds like the dampening is ‘adjustable’ with I assume knob on shock, you don’t have the button to change from inside the cabin?
thx

Nope, not adjustable from the inside of the cabin. Pro has a manually adjustable coilover suspension. You have to go wrenching. There are multiple things including ride height that can be adjusted.

Hmm that’s too bad. The regular R has coil overs and height can be adjusted/corner balanced as well. I wonder how the manual settings on the pro compare to the buttons on the R.

It doesn't compare at all essentially. The suspension in the GT R as in most other AMGs is an adaptive suspension. The setting you choose via the button in the cabin is the base damping characteristics, but then the suspension adjusts the damping multiple times a second based on the inputs from various sensors. The suspension in the GT R Pro is fixed. Once you've manually adjusted it, it stays that way. Any changes in road conditions etc. are not factored in in real time. The GT R Pro is meant for the track. AMG specifically says only the default setup is suitable for the road and any modified setup is only for the track. In case of a track you know what the track is like, so you can use the manual adjustability in the suspension to corner balance the car and tweak the suspension so it suits the track. You gonna be driving on the same road lap after lap, so manually tuning in the suspension specifically for the given track is very different than driving on public roads where road conditions etc. can change multiple times as you drive along. The GT R Pro is a track car and you essentially only drive it on the road to get to and from the track.

Here's a link to the suspension chapter of the Pro's owner's manual. That should give you an idea.
