I have a 2016 GT S with the optional quilted seats. Whenever I make aggressive turns they seem to lack support on the bottom. The rear and sides seem fine. has anyone else experienced that problem?

the seat seems to give somewhat like there are loose spring ties under it and has a slight movement, kind of like a bad chair might feel

I believe that there is a fix from the dealership. My car does exactly what you're describing. On my next service, I will ask the dealership to correct. There is something loose in the bottom of the seat. This was told to me by a service tech.

Mine was fixed by replacing some of the mechanism under the seat. Th service tech was not comfortable with the permanency of the fix. He was correct. It is slowly returning. I suspect that sometime in the next year it will again be bad enough to do it all over again.

Hi Jan,
Thanks for your reply. Same exact issue for me. They replaced the lower seat “frame” and it was fine and now it’s bad again. I’ve only put about 3 or 4 thousand kilometres on it since so not a good fix. It was a rather lengthy repair job for them iirc. As I can imagine it would be to remove and take apart and rebuild and reinstall, check over, etc.
i will be asking for a fix next visit and post the outcome.
