Since you are not interested in other colors (side comment: that pic of the matte blue is amazing and would be so rare), my pick would be grey then black (too hard of a color to keep up)

brand new... weird.. I had a regular GT in magnetite black a few months back, its very metallic and sparkily.. more of a very dark grey (graphite) than pure black

also just sold a SL550 in magentite w/tan inside...was beautiful, especially in the sunlight

I think this is it... color and interior looks right, although their site says 4matic and it isnt (look at pic in the rear, no 4matic badge)

I'm gonna get PPF on the entire car no matter which color I get.

That said... Selenite Grey Metallic with a matte PPF vs Selenite Grey Mangno with a clear PPF?

I know black is hard to care for and keep clean. But if I went with a matte PPF on a black GTR, would that help with keeping it clean or is it more about how dirt looks on a black car?

I had a matte PPF applied to a 2010 black R8 by Premier in CA, and it looked fantastic. You could not tell it wasn’t paint, as every surface was wrapped/covered completely. The paint was corrected first, then the film applied. It was the easiest car I’ve ever had keeping clean, as all you do is wash the car and/or use a specific detail spray; there’s no need to ever wax the car, in fact you should never do so.

If you’re lazy like me, then a matte film over the Selenite Grey would be my choice. Total car protection, plus ease of keeping clean.

You have photos of the matte black R8?

Really trying to decide between a matte black or matte selenite GTR at the end of the day.
