I've sold my ZO6, so now I've been given permission to start my GTS search! I plan to do some aftermarket wheels when I get the right car. Normally, when I buy a car I simply put the OEM wheels up on a forum and they sell quickly. However, I just went all the way back to June in the classifieds here and didn't see any GTS wheels for sale or sold. Is there no market for them at all? I see many owners with aftermarket wheels.....are they just keeping their OEM wheels? Do our wheels fit other models? It'll be difficult to convince the wife I need new wheels if I can't recoup some of the cost by selling my old wheels as I usually do.....
I always recommend that an owner keeps his OEM wheels as backups. You never know what scenario will present itself when you need them and it's better to be safe than sorry.
With that said, we run a trade-in program where we'd be able to take your OEM wheels off your hands and apply them as a credit towards your new aftermarket wheels.

I haven't even found the GTS I want to buy yet, but I'll keep you in mind. Without seeing what others have asked, it's hard to say what a take-off set is worth.
ebay was a good call and I don't know why I didn't think of it myself. Several sets listed there so it gave me some idea of values. I won't know which wheels I have to sell until I decide on a car.....
i have aftermarket wheels and didn't really try to sell my oems. just sitting in my garage right now. figured it would be a must have if i did a dealer trade-in on the car but with all the stuff i've done to it, it'll probably be better that i stick to private sale if i ever get rid of her.
with that said, anyone interested in edition 1 wheels wrapped in mpss with (my best guess) <5k miles on them?
