It looks like the corner of the carbon fiber roof panel is starting to delaminate. Has anyone else run into this and I presume is covered by warranty?

Do you mean on a GT R? If so I’m guessing that you’re the first to note it, but yes it would be a warranty item unless caused by damage.

I think it is the GTS Edition 1 that he is talking about, which should still be under warranty.

Woah! That and a shoehorn, eh? I'm 6'0 and feel pain (a sadistic grin) whenever one of my taller/larger buddies says, "I have to sit behind the wheel this thing"!
Is the CF roof really taller than the pano? At least we have that going for us.
But yes, get that delam on the record.

Sunroofs usually can take away 3-6" of headroom in cars depending on the module they use. 99% of the population wouldn't notice until you are over 6'5", but it does make a difference.

3”-6” is a bit overdone. Given the thickness of the glass, we are talking maybe 1”...

On the Pano roof there is also a larger horizontal support that juts out a few inches. Great if you want to drive with your head cocked sideways all the time. Like I said, tall people problems.

UPDATE:

Hoehn Mercedes (they rock) said that the roof is being replaced since it is delaminating. It is a not in stock item of course, so expectations should be in months. There was no issue at all with the warranty claim.
