Disappointing L.A. Auto Show
Just got back. What a disappointment. The only GT on the floor was a brilliant blue GTC roadster, locked with the top up and a spokemodel who knew nothing about the GTs. There was what appeared to be a GTR on an elevated stand, which was race-prepped.
The Mercedes Project One concept car was on the stand, too, but it was elevated and it was hard to see.
As a Bimmer driver, too, I was interested in seeing what BMW was doing. No Z4 or 8 concept cars but there was the new all electric i Vision Dynamics concept sedan as well as the hideous X7.
Porsche had its own hall, but Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Ferrari and Lamborghini didn't bother to show up. I don't blame them. I wish I hadn't bothered.
