My 2017 GT
Thought I would layout my 2017 GT options and build. The packages and option numbers will hopefully be of help to 2017 GT buyers. My humble black GT.

Ordered March 26 and expected build in May. .....I'm real excited. As this is 3rd AMG in a long while.

I was just at a exotic coffee and cars this morning and there must've been 100 Lambos and Ferraris and not one GT. I like that...

Looks like the only option right now are catless pipes which works for me in FL but not so good for you in GA.
Yes, the GT is a rare car which is very appealing. With a tune, it seems to be hanging its own against supercars.

I had a "stereo" put in mine.
They were able to fit a JL 10TW3 in a custom box, JL 5 channel amp, Audison Bit Ten, and the adapter needed to work with the stock electronics all into the passenger side of the hatch where the stock sub was located.
We also put Focal 3 ways in the stock locations up front as the car came with 3ways factory.
I think putting a 10w6 might be a little more challenging since it needs more room.

Wow. so I have a JL sub in house. Luv the smooth bass. And was looking at same.
Can you elaborate some more about the adapter and the sound and why you chose focals?

According to my audio guy, they used a JL Audio FIX82 to interface with the stock system.
edit: I'm an idiot. I didn't go with Focals.
I went with Hertz components. I was looking for something in the $1000 price range.

Also, one thing I noticed after the stereo.
Music over bluetooth sounds like **** on Mercedes Benz. Also tried it on my buddy's S class and there's a noticeable difference between bluetooth and wired.
I went from streaming Spotify over bluetooth (could barely tell i had a stereo in the car) to streaming Tidal Hi-fi using the wired USB connection. Makes a humongous difference. Tidal Hi-Fi has 4x the bit rate of Spotify IIRC.
Music over bluetooth sounds like **** on Mercedes Benz. Also tried it on my buddy's S class and there's a noticeable difference between bluetooth and wired.

yea just take your charging cable from your phone and there are 2 usb ports inside the armrest
Hertz because they're good speakers. there are dozens of speaker brands. most shops only stock 2-3 so it's almost impossible to go around listening to them all. and they'll sound differently on a sound board than in a car.
it's like buying a tv. just have to go off your price range, reviews, and installer recommendation.

If you want the ceramic paint coating from a detailer, I use Apogee Detailing and I have been very happy with their work too.
