aside from that and the CF brakes, I get every option on a car
What??? So you are saying a more free flowing exhaust and les restriction offer no performance advantage? The AMG sport exhaust most defiantly offers increased performance.

I have to agree with you 100% there, the GT is a great sounding car, not many cars sound better at WOT.

Running through the configurator, it's really not that much more for S once you add those additional options to base GT. Hmmmm....

2021 Porsche TTS
For some $10K is pocket change and they would rather have a badge with an S.
For others, $10K will be spent on wheels, better sound system and a tune and the end result will be a faster customized car.
To each his own.
Related to the exhaust, I do believe that jrcart has a point as the valves bypass a portion of the exhaust and therefore is more free flowing. You won't feel the difference but you sure hear it.

ITs really not the money though. It's funny how you guys get your brains zapped by the nomenclature.

If you want to spend your money get a different car and that would be the GTC.

the GT has 456 HP, show me where it has more HP with the dynamic performance exhaust. Or any porsche, mercedes, maserati, bmw with these valved muffler exhaust systems.

2017 AMG GT
Even though I pointed out an advantage of going GTS, I went GT. I happened to see a car in inventory at the end of the year and I made a great deal. I am perfectly happy with my decision and would do it again.

Are you just a knucklehead? A straight through exhaust offers better breathing and power.

BTW the earth is round

I agree $10K is drop in the bucket. Who in his right mind would buy a strip base AMG GT?

Too cheap.

Drive safe,
