Sorry I am responding late. I have been looking myself for a set of wheels and everything looks to be either the stock set up or one inch bigger on both. I just bought a set of wheels and I have to say I didn't like them. The offsets were bad and tire sizes incorrect. Extremely frustrating. A piece of advice, do A LOT of homework. I thought I did...... I was wrong. PM if you want more info. I don't want to publicly badmouth so PM me if you have any questions. It is an expensive mistake....

Yup, totally sucks. I have custom wheels on all my cars and NONE have been this difficult to get right. All different tire sizes and offsets from all different high end companies. They said, my car is suppose to look the way it does but it looks like a car out of the NASCAR line up. Simply put, its wrong. A lot of the pics you see on the net do not show the real look or imperfect fitment. NOT COOL. I went through this years ago with my turbo. It is frustrating.

Absolutely yes. They are also put on the car simply for the photo shoot yet they are completely unusable. I thought I was playing it safe by custom building wheels to factory spec diameter so I would meet all MB standards etc. Like I said the company completely changed the offsets on me that totally through off the look and functionality. Ridiculous. If you do your research a 265/30/20 and a 305/25/21 is the exact stock fitment and shouldn't have any problems if the offsets are messed with. WRONG, they changed the offsets so the front wheels stick out they went +42 (from +62) and +51 in rear (from +68). The 305's do NOT sufficiently protect the rim and look wimpy in the rear and NASCAR AGGRESSIVE in the front. Ridiculous. This is a high end wheel company so I hope they do the right thing. They state that is what everyone is doing. I can't see how and the car being functional. I also lowered the car and the spring set was engineered for the stock set up thus all the homework on the wheels and tires. All I can say is UGHHHHHHH. what a mess. my car has 1000 miles on it and it looks like its being torn apart. In the meantime I am looking for help on the forum.

I sent them pics. Unfortunately not really good ones (not hard to get the idea though) I am sure I can post them here. They said that is what they are suppose to look like?? Ridiculous. I would just hate to post them without giving them a chance to make good on this as promised. They have done me right in the past so I am hoping for the same treatment. I just wish these wheel manufacturers did more homework before they offered wheels and to be totally honest with you the load setting for the tires do not meet MB standards. NO tire manufacturer make a 101 load setting tire for a 21" wheel so all the 21" inch wheels you see being advertised are technically "unsafe" to drive. In all fairness, they have plenty of wiggle room but again technically they are considered "unsafe" by MB standards. If you really want pics, I am happy to send them to you. PM me or PM me your cell and I can text them to you. That is easiest for me.

AMG 17GT you are exactly right, I just want it to look right but be functional. Preferably I want it look stock but a little more aggressive. The car u posted looks good but I've spoken to them and again I think they are learning. In my opinion their recommended offsets and tire recommendations are totally off. They are a good company, I hope they get it right. I am sticking to stock for now.

Holy crap...i guess I'll just leave the car alone for a little while. I don't understand why people think its ok to pull shinanigins. I just bought it...I'll just drive it and enjoy it.

I too was frustrated with all the secretive BS with offsets, that I'm just riding stock for awhile.
Sounds like you just want to get it right. Look forward to you getting the right numbers out there for all of us here.
This car comes as close as I've seen to what I envision.

Just my opinion, it is best to wait. I pulled the trigger and lost. Your vision was/is my vision. It's great but a little more would be AWESOME!!! The enemy of good..... is better...

Yup that car does look really good, gets the mind thinking about similar.
My last car was a Porsche 997 4s lowered on modulare m3 20's, with a gt2 front end and side skirts. It was really nice, but it's tiring scraping and wearing out suspension parts extra early, and dodging potholes and more flat tires and... you get the idea
I seem to go one car lowered, next not, next lowered, and so on.
