GT Jack

My GT S has the TireFit option, but I'd like to carry a real spare and jack on occasion (like when going to the racetrack or on I-70 in Utah where "Next Services 113 miles" is posted.)

Would someone please tell me the part number for the GT jack and suggest where to buy one other than from the dealer?

Thanks much.

I'd get the correct jack myself. Its a GT-S after all :-)

I've put the EPCnet references in so your dealer can check my copying of the part numbers, please have them do that and confirm this is correct.

Option code B12 is the 'Wheel replacement kit' option, and at least the following are in it (found in EPCnet group 58, subgroup 015)
Jack: A197 580 02 18
Chock: A203 583 00 75
Centering Pin: A204 581 00 74
Spanner: A000 581 02 00
Glove: A203 583 00 64
Fixing for Jack in trunk: A197 898 01 81 (check in EPCnet group 69, subgroup 45)

The "Spare Wheel" option (690) has A212 400 42 00 (spare wheel 6.5x19), but to hold it properly you need 2x A190 890 04 00, 1x A211 489 02 79 9051, 2x A210 860 02 14, 2x A009 990 75 04, 2x A210 849 01 03
(Dealer can check those in EPCnet, Group 69, subsection 045, and in the wheels section)

I hope that helps

Richard

spare is probably the same as my SL 19x6.5 et14 fits many cars, but you have to have some spacer and lugs probably for GT
I have a spare to sell.
Jack is probably same as mine too. all these parts work on different cars, you see they are labeled 212 E, for cls, e, sl many cars

Thank you all so much. I'll see what I can find. The white pad on the bay jacks perhaps is too large for the center jacking point slot on my GT S. But maybe not -- that slot for the jack is 2.5"x 1.25" or there about.
