GTR but not in Green Hell Magno?
Anyone picking a color other than the overpriced Green Hell Magno? I like the Green, but I find the price for that paint job to be an extortion. Grey Magno seems like a fine alternative.

I agree the price for the paint is crazy , the Electric Beam for the 4x4 was higher than the Ad personum paint for my SVR .

New to this forum.
I ordered mine in gray magno.
My GTR was built on 3/23. Since then the dealer is telling me is in B50 code (produced not shipped). They said hopefully they will assign a ship next week.
Crazy!!!

I think its poor form on the part of MB and their sales and marketing.
They push the GTR in green, same way they pushed the GTS in yellow, then charge a ridiculous premium for the exclusivity.
I say ridiculous, because its unjustifiable - one is just magno, other just a metallic

So you ought to have the dealer check and see if you re now on the boat.
I'm Brunswick bound too and as of yesterday (4/7) still a B5.
FYI: The boats/ships go to Baltimore and then come to Brunswick.
The green initial order cars will clear customs first and iron out any wrinkles for the rest of us.

If you are going to track the car, then I would never get a magno finish regardless of colour unless you do a full protective wrap. Because, on track, it is inevitable that you collect quite a bit of rubber down the side of the car and I have no idea how you would remove it without damaging the paint. With a gloss finish car you just polish it off. So I have order regular selenite greasy but will probbaly change to white befor lock in.

Ordered mine in plain gloss black 040 color code, grey magno was my second choice. Might have it wrapped in a matte clear bra, it should look pretty evil either way.

Yea.
The ship is leaving the Port of Baltimore shortly headed for Brunswick Tuesday morning.
Then all of the chinese fire drills. Customs, Carrier scheduling etc.
There's a new wrinkle we're trying to figure out---MG/AMG doesn't seem to want to release the ones off ported in the US last week.
I'm thinking they are purpously delaying deliveries to the dealers until late this week--maybe Fri 5/5.
We'll see......
Thanks for asking and best regards
