Crazy GTR Price
#26
In other words, they have the car in the store, it has (or will have) 3100km by 31/5 and only then can you collect the car if you decide to buy it? And in the meantime, anyone can check it out, maybe take it for a ride? Laughable.
The store listing the GTRs for 285k also lists other models at surreal prices, it's not their first stunt.

Does not say if it is a demo or not - if you look in the link you provided and scroll down, you will see other GTR's listed, that's where I got the link.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? A 911 for $600k?! Some of these owners have lost their mind.
I did hear about the 911R, but guess I didn't realize how big of a deal it would be. $600k is just dumb money.
I'd rather buy a couple of real supercars with that kind of money vs. just a 911 (even if it is a nice/good one).

lexus and toyota and ducati, suzuki now
The prices the dealers are quoting are insane.
Right now there seems to be too much money chasing these cars and the car companies are limiting productions to encourage it.
I have seen it now in the Ford GT, the first year it came out, my local backwater dealer had one on the floor and said he was going to hold an auction for it. I said count me out.
Then now recently I had a local Ford dealer tell me that the Mustang GT350R has a premium of at least 30K over window.
When asked about the future GT500R that will be soon he said it will be the same situation.
Recently I stopped at a Porsche dealer and they said their 911S GT3 will be in the 180K range but not sure as they have too many people who want them. Same with the 911 R which in Southern Florida they are asking 500K or more. They are waiting for the right sucker I guess.
Now I am looking for dealers who will be getting the MB GTX. Westley Chapel in Tampa will not be getting any. So, I guess I need to check out the Southern Florida dealers who I am sure will be gouging their customers.
I thought I would try to find who might have a 2018 camaro ZL1 Lt1 but no luck so far.
I figure it may be just easier to wait and buy one in one to two years when the fervor dies down.
