2016 AMG GT-S Edition 1

Hood vents?

Does anyone know what the hood vents are for? The way their ducting run do not seem to be venting the engine bay.

Are you somehow trying to say that the engineers at AMG don't really know how to vent an engine? Hmmm. Ok.

G63 & 991.2 GT3 & AMG GT

LHS vent extracts from the depths of the v8, RHS looks like its a bit more decorative.

Porsche guy who drives SL63 w/ perf pkg AND perf suspension

same kind of vents on sl and other cars, not much function for performance, the pass side is usually a inlet for ac and it uses air for fresh air in and mixing air for defroster
