Dashboard Top Grill Replacement

Does anyone know the removal procedure for the trapezoidal grill on the top of the dashboard in the centre - the one with what I think is the light/sun sensor "nipple" - top middle position.

I would ask a dealer to check the schematics, as its probably pry at specified anchor points.

Why do you need to remove?

I need to change it because the existing one somehow got damaged. The damage is light but noticeable.

I have spoken to a dealer. They looked at the schematics, could find no sign of any screws just clips and therefore are pretty sure it is a pop out.

The (1st world) problem I have is that I'm getting a clear wrap on Monday which isn't cheap and if I later find out that the entire dash has to come out I will be rejecting the car (Dash out = rattles as I'm sure you'll know!). So I would be throwing money away.

LOL - I had a dash swap in a BMW - great job, zero rattles...... just a little dark at night, as they forgot to plug some of the illuminations back in = FAIL!!
