Anyone in Canada or US able to specify and lock in a confirmed order for either the GTC Cabrio or the GTR yet?
Any GTCs or GTRs delivered to any customers yet in North America? (Or are they all stuck at port still)?
My E 63S has been stuck at port since April, and I am still waiting to specify and confirm my GTR and GTC.

My GTC Cabrio is in the queue for construction and has a scheduled date of manufacture but who knows when it will make its way to the USA and then get out of port. The salesman says, "Your vehicle will start production between the 10th and 20th of august and is scheduled to arrive here (ETA end of September) !"

I have a Netstar screenshot that shows August - confirming what the salesman said - so that seems to show that they aren't shut down

I had exact same situation the car didn't get built and it got put off till September. As you know they go on a long vacation over there

yes August sept delivery here as well for canada, but was very low allocation in canada for first run.

Yeah I know that in Europe lots of business hibernate for periods during the summer. I somehow find it hard to believe that Mercedes or better still AMG manufactures ZERO cars in August. It will be interesting to see how and what and when they do. This is the third car I have had specced by Mercedes Benz (2nd AMG) and they exactly hit their self-scheduled dates before - but I'm in no hurry as I love my GTS...and I have plenty of lease time to go.

Was that for a First Edition car, or a "regular" version. I got offered a First Edition, but did not want that.
