Ok I'm just planning for a rainy day here.

The owner's manual states that the rear wheel differential locks (even when the transmission is in Neutral) unless the engine is running. It further states that the vehicle can only be towed with the engine running for this reason.

So what happens when we have an engine problem, hence we need a tow, and the engine can't be started?

A flat bed tow truck won't help because the vehicle won't be able to be rolled onto the flatbed.

Thoughts?

you always want to put the car on a flatbed. Dont tow it. They wench the car on the bed.

Tow truck companies usually have wheel dollies for these situations. They will place the rear wheels on their own "skid" to prevent driveline or tire damage. Good to know that I will need to request that if the time ever comes.

So, I am curious if there has been any updates on secret Neutral override modes beyond what is listed. Flat bed drivers might not really know or care about our little issue.....

Also, need to know this if you track your car and need to get towed off track. You track rats out there must know how to do this
