Who's getting one?
So who's got one on order? What color and equipment?
I've got an Edition 1 GTS on order, April 1st delivery. US Edition 1's only come in one color(grey) and all equiped the same. It will be "tweaked" by Weistec soon thereafter. Can't wait!

I would really like to get one, but am going to wait until I can configure.....I heard 120-150 range......did you hear the same? there's a nice shade of blue I saw on youtube

I like the car but disappointed at horsepower.
I feel they did it so that it does not overshadow the SLS and they will come up with an update in a few years with close to 600hp.
$150K for 510hp. For about 10K more you can get a 911TT that will humiliate this car.
I know it is not german and there is an ECU issue right now but the new Z06 is really appealing.

I think each region is different when it comes to orders & options. In UAE you can order Edition 1 with any exterior color but it comes with black interior & red stitching (attached is red Edition 1 at my dealer). I was told that both Edition 1 and non Edition 1 will arrive together. Let's hope my dealer was correct!

I agree with Emeric and will most likely wait until the BS version is announced and put an order on that. The BS cannot disappoint

Was really interesting to watch Chris Harris' report on the car and a couple 911 comparos in Germany.
Virtually no turbo lag with NA feel and sound, the best 7 speed programming on the DCT in a MB (Getrag) and a nicely balanced chassis reads pretty good to me. Unless you are talking track, I don't see where a regular 911TT could humiliate the car.

I have a deposit on an edition 1, but with the talk of more powerful BS and GT3 versions 6 months before the first one is even released I'm having 2nd thoughts. I may pass and wait and see. I'm disappointed the edition 1 only comes in gray. I would have liked yellow.

Guys, GT3 is not confirmed(I have connections) and the BS will be a model year 2019, you guys are gonna be waiting a long long time lol. I'm geting an Edition 1 now and the BS when it hots the market.

I ordered, Edition 1 gts with the yellow paint and Black wheels, i like those more than the Edition 1 wheels.

Has anyone thought about the new Acura NSX? It's supposed to be unveiled at the Detroit auto show next month. If it's anything like the last one it should be quite an amazing car. Rumors have it a lot lighter and more powerful than the GT. Not sure about the turbo 6 and 3 electric motors though. It's worked for the porsche 918 so maybe it'll be alright.

To me it looks like a 928, which I like, bonnet/hood too long makes it look
like an SLS. 110 grand is about right I feel, it is nice from the back a bit

I would be willing to bet a nice steak dinner that the AMG GT BS will hit way before 2019 more like a 2017 model in 2016.
However I am concerned the pricing will be close to 200K. Going to have to work harder and smarter...

yeah cant believe its only 510 hp. and like 460 for the gt? are you kidding? who the hell wants that?

AN ECU tune will take the car to 600HP+ and with the curb weight of 3,395–-3,461 lb it should be pretty agile.
The move to smaller, lighter and high performance engines is the trend in Germany.
And a lighter car can do great with a smaller engine; as evidenced with your GT3
