Weird brake pedal feel

So, I observed something strange today in my GTS that I have never experienced in another car of mine. I was sitting at a stop light with the windshield wipers going and every time the wipers got to the farthest "up" position and changed directions to go back "down" there was a slight "pulse" in the brake pedal. It didn't affect the braking, but I just thought it was strange and had never felt that in any other cars. Anyone else experience this yet?

100% completely normal in my experience.

I have experienced this on all of my BMWs and on my '13 W204 C63. Experienced it in the virtually brand new ML350 loaner I had the other day as well. I don't even notice the faint pulse anymore.

The cause is this: Both the wiper motor and brake pedal are both mounted to the same sheet of metal. The vibration from the wiper motor transfers through the brake pedal. The wiper motor is mounted to the firewall, just like your brake pedal's arm is connected to the brake booster, which in turn is connected to the firewall.

No need to worry at all.
