My AMG GTS Lowered with KW's!!!
Thanks @djastal69 aka David for hooking me up with the 2nd stateside set of KW height adjustable sleeves for my GTS. What a great set up it is!!! Also thanks to Weistec for doing the full install (it takes a day with the first run) and being so patient while I paced the waiting room
The compression and rebound coupled with the magnetic shock system is incredible. I have had the HAS system on a few cars but this is the best Benz set up Ive dropped. It feels very similar to the Novitec drops (Novitec private labels their KW systems) I have done on my Ferrari 458, FF, and Lamborghini Huracan. I have no doubt the magnetic dampeners have something to do with it also. In comfort mode the car remains very docile with limited road feel yet its a little more stiff than OEM (due to drop and spring rates). Sport is very stiff but yet very compliant and the car feels like my 458; hardly any roll in high speed turns and fast sweepers. Sport Plus is extremely stiff and probably best for perfect roads but I never used SP in the first place for street driving.
I always thought the GTS sat too high from the factory especially in the back so this kit is excellent and one can adjust the height if he/she likes. I actually the ED1 OEM wheels but the offsets are a little too inward. Ill probably get wheels.
Cell phone shots after about 30 miles and the first pic is PRE Lower:
