14 E63S Wagon, 16 GTS Edition1 (Sold), 17 SL450 designo edition
In Process

I've been looking for an Edition 1 since Vic posted pictures of his new ride and the dealer I purchased my 14 E63 S Wagon from suddenly has one sitting in the showroom locked with Please Do Not Touch signs in all the windows. No test drive, can't sit in it and unlike my Wagon they will not discount it one cent. MSRP of 144 and out the door at 157. I am waiting for an itemized accounting.
A lot of coin for me having just bought the Wagon a year ago and I'm not sure I have any body parts left to sell but bucket lists won't wait forever at my age. I just hope the car is everything you guys are implying it is. Will probably give them the nod next week.

He was probably including tax and license/reg fees.

@Patric I know what I type can't full justify the buy but this car is incredible and post tune its arguably my best Benz Ive ever owned. The luxury and interior set up coupled with the rear striking exterior is downright bad a$$. Good luck and pull the trigger!!! Maybe there is another dealer in your area where you can test drive it?

Edit- watch this again LOL stock vs stock

That makes sense for total out of pocket.
Of the edition 1 versions that MB has created for several models, this is by far the best one as well. Just a stunning car and the color works really well with the design.
If they would have had the forged wheels and cf wing, it would have been ideal...

Yes, the 157K is the all inclusive out the door figure for everything including my choice of a bottle of fine wine. Something to sip on the way home.

I can assure you that you will not regret buying this car. I spent two years trying to figure out the car that I wanted to buy myself for a "special birthday". I was researching Ferraris, Audi R8, 911s.... I wasn't even looking to buy this car and when I finally saw it on the show room and fell in love. They started it and I was SOLD. I didn't even have to drive it to know it was going to be awesome. Everybody on this forum has reinforced just how awesome this car is. You can't lose. It is obviously a lot of coin, but it is a bargain in my opinion compared to some other cars out there. I would truly put it in the "exotic" class. When I drive this car to cars and coffee people ignore the other exotics around to come look at my car.

I didn't catch whether you were going to be trading in your other car? Also, I haven't heard of a single Edition 1 (or any GTS for that matter) going for less than sticker. Best of luck!

Mine is now broken in and the real fun has begun. I will not say it is better than my 911S, just very pleasingly different. There is nothing like a V8 to an old school motor head like me.

I'm keeping the wagon as my daily driver and because I actually haul stuff in it like top soil, garden shrubs, fertilizer and even had two eight foot trees in it so it's definitely a workin wagon.

On another note I pulled the trigger on the car today so should have it home soon. I tried out the seat and the bottom cushion seems a bit firm compared to other buckets I have been in but I may have not played with the buttons long enough to adjust it properly.

I agree with the seat cushion, it definitely could use a little bit more.
Congrats on the purchase.
I also have the Edition 1 which I recently had the full frontal clear bra and C Quartz ( ceramic coating) the entire surface area including the wheels and calipers.

Congratulations! The seat might seem a little more firm right now than you are used to, but when you get the seat set up to your likings, it's more supportive than firm. Now onto the 1000 painful miles of keeping your foot out of it!
