Poor Radio Reception
My optional $7000 sound system seems to lose lock on the tuned channel whenever I get near high voltage towers, and then stays with lousy reception for quiet a while.
Only does it on AM channels (the ones I use for traffic updates).
FM is fine.
Anyone else had a similar observations?

it seems that few of us listen to AM these days. The am reception in my edition 1 is by far the worst of any car I have ever owned, including Corvettes. Where Ilive, i do not get a single am station reception worth a damn.

I kid.... slightly, but to be honest I haven't even gone to radio section except for satellite. The antenna is in the glass so maybe you tinted your windows and that's an AM issue?
